Every now and then we find almost credible excuses to avoid getting some exercise. It’s easy to say it’s raining or we’re too tired today and can’t go to the gym. But have you thought about setting up a mini gym or even a temporary/make-shift gym in your own home? It’s even more convenient. If weight loss or fitness is going to be a long term thing for you, then it’s worth making sure that your daily exercise regime cannot be interrupted, whether by the rain or that long drive you don’t want to take to the gym – plan your workout to be carried out in the convenience of your own home, office, or anywhere you are.

Personally, I do both. However, on most days I exercise at home. I would either get on the treadmill, the bike or lift weights, among other exercises. Once in a while, I even bring a personal trainer home which I really enjoy. In the comfort of home, I find even more energy.

I don’t have a designated gym room but have managed to fit some exercise equipment in a corner in the house. Where there’s a will, there’s a will, there’s a way.
Don’t wait to go to the gym, set up your gym space at home or even in your local park.
