It was concluded that the reason for this was because carbs boost mood-regulating, stress-reducing chemicals in the brain, and high-protein, fatty foods may deplete them, said Grant Brinkworth, PhD, the lead researcher of the study.
If you’re on a low-carb diet, thread carefully. Lets face it, diets (regardless of the type you’re following) are not always easy to be on, especially the first phases! Avoid or tackle stress by pursuing your hobbies, enjoying nature and doing the things you love, so that you are kept distracted enough from feeling stressed, whether from your diet or a personal matter.
